GENERAL INFORMATION Acknowledgements All orders will be acknowledged. Use the work order number when requesting information on your order in process. Production Time Normal production time is approximately three weeks from receipt of order to shipping date on etched ware. Allow a minimum of two weeks for preparation of a sample or proof. Additional production time may be necessary during the peak volume months of October through December. Copy Artwork Please supply finished camera-ready artwork. This will help us engrave your selection to your client's satisfaction. We reserve the right to charge for preparation to make ready art. You will be notified of this charge. We reserve the right to determine what is camera-ready artwork. Make-Ready Charges For engraving of trademarks, logo or straight line copy, there is a one time art and preparation charge of $75.00 (V). Please Note: An occasional bubble in handmade glassware is not considered an imperfection. You can expect an occasional bubble to appear in quality handcrafted glassware. Type of Engraving All items at Crystal Graphics are deep etched. Opposite Side/Second Position Engraving Add $3.75 (V) per piece plus applicable make-ready charges. Pricing Price includes etching on one surface. Opposite side/second position is additional cost (see above). All pricing good through December 31, 2004. Type Styles Unless a type style is requested, Crystal Graphics reserves the right to choose a style appropriate for the message or ad copy. Type styles shown below are available for your message. Trademarks The customer agrees to hold harmless and will defend Crystal Graphics from all claims for patent, trademark or copyright infringement claims. All liability for the proper use of a trademark rests with the customer. Crystal Graphics reserves the right to photograph or show as samples any items produced by us without any liability on our part as to trademark or artwork rights. Most logos shown in the catalog are from our customers and are used for display purposes only. No endorsement of product or company should be implied in any case. Personalization One line, per name, add $6.25 (V). Less than Minimum Orders Orders for less than our published minimum quantities are subject to a $40.00 (V) charge. Paper Proofs May be provided upon request at a charge of $15.00 (V). Speculative Samples $12.50 (V) plus preparation charge $75.00 (V) plus cost of item. Drop Shipments of Split Shipments Add $3.75 (V) for each after the first, plus shipping charges. Copy Changes Copy changes within an order, 3 lines or more, $15.00 (V) per change. Packaging All items in the Crystal Graphics catalog are packaged in a corru-gated air cell carton suitable for mailing. Rush Order Charges There will be a charge of $40.00 (V) for orders shipped within 72 hours. Shipping All orders will be shipped prepaid with shipping charges added to your invoice. All shipments are F.O.B., IL. C.O.D. orders will not be accepted. Shipments will go U.P.S. normal delivery. All air shipments must be confirmed by letter or telegram. Shipments over 100 lbs. are sent prepaid motor freight unless specified differently on your purchase order. Shipment and Freight Claims We are not responsible for breakage or damage in transit. Should damage, breakage, or chippage be evident upon arrival... PLEASE NOTE the following: A) A claim must be filed directly with the carrier. B) All carriers require that you save outer cartons, packing material, and breakage - without which claims will not be honored. C) Carriers also require copy of invoice and copy of bill of lading. D) The above information must be followed in order for you to file a claim against the carrier for damaged merchandise. U.P.S. Shipment Claims A) Notify us immediately by mail only. State invoice number, style number, and quantity of damaged items. U.P.S. regulations make it mandatory that all claims should be filed by the shipper on behalf of the consignee. B) U.P.S. regulations require that original outer cartons, packing material, and breakage should be retained. Inspection will be made on your premises. C) Claims will be automatically denied by U.P.S. unless original carton, packing material and breakage is retained.
